The feature catalogue

ReservationBay is one product with one price list. Your plan does not decide which features you get. What decides it is what you switch on.

Always on

These are the spine of a rental business and cannot be switched off:

FeatureWhat it gives you
DashboardToday's figures, check-ins and check-outs.
BookingsThe booking list, the calendar, creating and editing bookings, check-in and check-out.
CustomersThe customer list, their history and their details.
LocationsYour rental locations, opening hours and closed days.
ResourcesYour stock, availability and maintenance.
PaymentsYour accepted payment methods, your wallet and your transactions. This one is always visible on purpose: you are billed whether or not you look at the screen, and a wallet that goes negative has a seven-day deadline attached.

Optional

These you turn on and off for the whole company under Settings → Features, and grant per staff member under Settings → Users.

FeatureWhat it gives you
ReportsThe reporting page: occupancy, revenue, booking sources, deposits, promotions, unmet demand and a year-on-year comparison, each exportable as CSV.
ReviewsAutomatic review requests to renters after their rental, and a page to publish, hide or reply to what comes in.
BundlesSelling several categories together as one product, a package or a kit.
Extras & waiversAdd-ons on a booking that are not objects: helmets, cleaning fees, a damage waiver as a percentage of the rental.
Discount codesPercentage or fixed-amount codes, scoped by date, location, category, minimum amount and number of uses.
VouchersGift cards with a balance that can be spent across several bookings.
DocumentsContract, quote and packing-slip templates, and generating branded PDFs from a booking.
SignaturesSigning a contract on a tablet at the counter, or by emailing the customer a single-use signing link. Has no menu item of its own. It appears inside the booking and document screens.
IntegrationsThe website widget builder, calendar sync, and connections to other systems.
AdministrationYour payment overview, the invoices ReservationBay sent you, and yearly booking exports.

Switching a feature off

Turning something off hides it from everyone's menu immediately, and its pages stop being reachable. Nothing is deleted. Your vouchers, your reviews and your document templates are still there, and switching the feature back on brings them straight back.

Suggestions during setup

The setup wizard pre-ticks the features that businesses in your branch usually want: waivers and signatures for boats and scooters, vouchers and reviews for a bike shop. It is a starting point, not a decision: change it in the wizard or at any time afterwards.
