Creating your account and signing in
Registering
Go to reservationbay.com and choose Sign up. You need:
- your name and email address;
- a password;
- and to tick the security check (reCAPTCHA) that keeps automated sign-ups out.
That is it. You are not asked for company details, a plan or a payment method at this point — those come during the setup wizard, and the wizard costs nothing to complete.
Sign-ups are limited to five per hour from the same internet connection. If you are setting up several accounts from one office and get a "too many requests" message, wait an hour or use a different connection.
Verifying your email address
A confirmation email arrives right after you register. Clicking the link in it confirms that the address is really yours.
You do not have to do this before you can start. Registration takes you straight into the setup wizard. Until you confirm, you will see a small banner at the top of the portal with a resend link. Confirm when it suits you — but do confirm, because that address is where booking notifications and invoices go.
If the email never arrives:
- Check your spam folder.
- Use the resend link in the banner.
- If it still does not arrive, the address may have a typo — you can correct it under My account.
Signing in
Sign in at portal.reservationbay.com with your email address and password.
After five failed attempts in fifteen minutes, sign-in is blocked from your connection for a while. This is deliberate and there is nothing to fix — wait, then try again with the right password.
Being invited instead of registering
If a colleague already runs the company account, you should not register your own. Ask them to invite you from Settings → Users instead. You will receive an email with a link where you set your own password; that link both verifies your address and signs you in. See Team, roles and access.
The difference matters: registering creates a new, empty company. Being invited puts you in the existing one, with its bookings and objects.
One email address, several companies
The same email address can belong to more than one company — you might own your own rental business and also work weekends at a friend's. Each membership is separate, with its own role.
Signing out
Use Logout at the bottom of the left-hand menu. The portal also checks your session in the background, so if it expires while a screen is open, the page reloads and asks you to sign in again rather than silently failing to save.
